Aquael Reefmax
AQUAEL Reef MAX is a completely equipped bow-front tank of 60 cm wide and volume of ca. 105 l with extensive filtration panel concealed behind the background. Its cover encompasses 3 T5 fluorescent lamps of 24W wattage and a LED providing night lighting.
The maintenance of proper water temperature is ensured by a fan system integrated in the cover and specially chosen glass screen isolating water surface from direct heating as well as EasyHeater 100 heater.
A precise controller is built-in the cover that allows to independently adjust the time of operation of the first fluorescent lamp and two remaining ones. It also controls the operation of the fan - it is turned on when the water temperature, measured by a special sensor, surpasses the maximum value set by the user.
The filtration panel located behind the background consists of trickling filter in form of functional baskets, efficient protein skimmer and a comb filter. Dense combs protecting the intake guarantee the safety of fish and other animals.
The filtration baskets are by default filled with bioballs (they act as a biological trickling filter). The protein skimmer is equipped with efficiency regulation system, in form of ergonomic knob, that allows to increase or decrease the speed of generating foam. It is also equipped with a capacious container that requires emptying not more often that once every few days.
AQUAEL ReefMAX is a completely equipped and optimally harmonized set. It allows worry free setting up and maintenance of a typical reef tank including corals, echinoderms, crustacea, molluscs and other, even sensitive and demanding, animals. It is an ideal solution especially for beginning marine aquarists the are looking for an idea for their first aquarium.
