Fluval Internal Filter Foams

Fluval foam pads have been specially developed as a standard filter medium for the Fluval Plus range of underwater filters. Fluval foam pads maximise surface contact between the water and the media. These large filtering surfaces ensure efficient cleaning of the aquarium water and maximises the colonisation of beneficial bacteria.

Instructions for Use: Rinse the pads thoroughly before use and push the pads into the empty side compartments of the media cartridge. Replace the pads when the water circulation slows noticeably or when the filter clogging indicator is in the down position. To ensure retention of the beneficial bacteria required for biological filtering never change both pads at the same time. Always add Cycle to the aquarium water after replacing the pad, to speed up the colonisation of beneficial bacteria.
