Tunze Carbon Sediment Filter .5 µm - 8550.100
The carbon sediment filter for your Reverse Osmosis unit should be regularly replaced (every two to three months dependent upon the use of your RO unit). The carbon filter removes chlorine from the feed water, preventing it from entering the membrane. Chlorine will damage your RO unit's membrane, which is the most expensive part of the filter to replace. As such, it's best to replace the carbon sediment filter regularly.
